Puzzle AI Partners with U.S. Dental Education Firm to Localize AI Medical Record Solution

Puzzle AI (CEO Yong-sik Kim) announced on the 8th that it is developing an AI-based medical record solution specialized for dental practice environments in cooperation with CanDo Implant, a dental education company based in California, USA, and is pursuing product localization targeting the US market.

Since signing a memorandum of understanding (MOU) in January of last year, the two companies have been conducting local market research, product localization, and establishing service infrastructure in the U.S. Based on this, they jointly developed 'Cando Gen,' an AI medical record solution specialized for the dental treatment environment.

CanDo Gen is an AI-based solution that automates the creation of medical records by collecting audio generated during dental treatment. It features a structure that collects treatment audio via a dedicated microphone, summarizes the recorded audio using a proprietary Large Language Model (LLM), and then allows an AI agent to process the input into the Electronic Health Record (EHR). Puzzle AI explained that the solution focused on reducing the burden of medical record creation, even in noisy dental treatment environments.

Dr. John Kim of CanDo Implants evaluated, “Puzzle AI’s solution is competitive in terms of voice recognition accuracy and ease of use.”

"Based on data accumulated in the dental field and artificial intelligence technology, we have developed a solution suitable for the U.S. dental practice environment," said Kim Yong-sik, CEO of Puzzle AI. "Starting with California, we are considering a phased launch and expanded cooperation targeting the U.S. market."
